We did this study firstly in turkey! so we are happy we didn't prepare this tutorial with copy-paste technical. this is a real study prepared by ourselves.

HTC Sensation and XE

i applicated this application to my device. downgraded from original stock ICS to Ginger Bread roms.. i did S-OFF the original stok ICS device.
while all process, you must have the RUU Stock Rom. before the process, you must have the RUU Stock Rom of your device..

-you need an isolated wire 10 cm. peel off the two ends of the wire (one of side 7 mm strip, and other one 15 mm strip)
-before all process, you must enable USB debugging.
-as a precaution, use the 1gb or 2gb empty sd card. you can use your original sd card. no problem.
-if you will use your original sd card, you will perform backup. because, sd card will formatted.
-this tutorial is for sensation or sensation xe, to do S-OFF in Stock ICS ROM.
-you must have the RUU of your device software.

-you must install HTCSYNC to pc

extract the rar file. and copy to c: root.(folder name can be Adb)
-download the superuser and copy to your sd card root.

(name of the downloaded file must be PG58IMG.zip)



instructions

1-firstly, you must unlock the bootloader. to do this, you visit htcdev.com. and follow instructions.
2-after you see the UNLOCKED, swich on your phone. copy the superuser(you have already downloaded) to sd card root. then, enable USB DEBUGGING settings/developping settings/enable usb debug

everything is there about root and install recovery. you will temporarily do this. (temporarily root) this is enough. type

fastboot boot recovery.img

in CMD. and open the recovery mod. BUT DO NOT SWİCH OFF THE PHONE. open recovery, and click "install from sd card choose from sd card" and then find the Superuser and flash it. now you do "root". (sorry for my bad english)
4-download control bear program from this site [Misafirler kayıt olmadan link, eklenti veya içerik göremezler ! Kayıt İçin Tıklayın ! ]. choose your phone model and click download (bottom). then extract the rar and copy folder to c:root
5- first step for S-OFF. be carefull. drink cold water, take a walk for 2 mins and come backwalk barefoot. touch water pipe.
now wear gloves, or tape your fingers. (isolate your fingers.)


run "controlbear.exe" (if you use win7 or vista, right click and run as administrator). in the maintime, pick up the wire.

remove back case of your phone. (remember to enable USB DEBUGGING.) we use the hole far from battery (look at the picture).
while the phone is on fastboot mod in bootloader, we run controlbear.exe. you'll see as (like) CMD screen on the phone. and then installing the Juopunutbear program. look at the pc and wait. phonecan(or can't) restart, dont panic.

after last commad, as the video , a side of the wire touchs sd card chassis; and the other side of the wire touchs other little hole. without remove the wire at sd card chassis, again (wire)touch the little hole. between two taps time is max 2 second, min 1,5 sec.

if you see this types, you will success..


if you don't success, what will you do?
remove usb cable. remove battery.
and insert the battery. insert the usb cable. it opens on bootloader mod. if it doesn't open in that mod, while press volume down, press the power buton. and open in bootloader mod. and do same things, until you success.
6- now 6.
if everythings is okay you will see in bootloader mod:

s-off

and open the phone as normally. copy the recovery to sd card (PG58IMG.zip).
and open the phone in bootloader mod. and it will ask you to install recovery. press volume up and press power. recovery will installed quickly.
if you can not the PG58IMG.zip file automaticly, press fastboot, and again press hboot. this time you will see.
if you can not the PG58IMG.zip file, maybe file name is wrong. if so, open the phone normally, and edit file name. and restart to do.
after install recovery, you can install any custom rom..

7-if you wanna install any ICS rom, you must to do SuperCid

8- to install ICs rom, unnecessary to install firmware. so you have already on hboot 1027 and firmware 3,32
9-to install Gb rom, click the link

if you don't success on juopunutbear screen, and if you want to use original rom (undo all process) you will need RUU .


1-install HTCSYNC
2-remove and insert battery and open the phone on bootloader mod.
3-disable all antivirus programs
4-run ruu
5-when the installation has finished, and the phone has opened;
6-enable usb debugging
7-download htcsupertoolv3
8-extract the program and run super tool
9-firstly ads, then program starts.
10- numbers... letters... and press 6
11- a few minutes later, you will able to use original software of your phone.
